If you have one fabulous family photo that you'd like to showcase, check out our PrintingPress 6.0 design. We started by setting up an A8 Scored Photo Card in horizontal format so that it opens like a book. Next, we added a photo as a floating image and rotated the photo so that the bottom of the photo faces the right edge of the card. We added the word "MERRY" in red and green using the Trebuchet font that is included with Windows at the bottom of the card. We added a matching greeting of in red and green on the inside of the card, leaving plenty of room for a hand-written note. Once printed, turn the card on its side so that it opens like a calendar and the words run down the side for a fun, modern look. Paired with Metallic Deep Red envelopes lined in Celery, these holiday cards will stand out from the rest. We created coordinating Custom Image StationeryStamps with "MERRY" in red and green to bring some extra fun outside the envelope.

If you have a collection of photos you’d like to showcase, then our PrintingPress Platinum 6.0 design is just what you need. We started by adding a red custom background to an A8 Scored Photo Card. Next, we added an 8 point white custom border to help when placing the photographs. We added four photos, and enabled the Convert to Grayscale setting for each photo. We also added a 6 point white custom border to each photograph. You can add your own photographs by double-clicking on one of the placeholder images and then clicking on the Change image button. We added a floating text box with the family’s initial “M” in white using the Palatino Linotype font. We added a light blue custom background to the text box and dragged it to the upper right corner of the card. We used another blue background text box to add the words “happy holidays” in white and red in the bottom left corner of the card. We added two more floating text boxes (without blue backgrounds) to add curly braces around the holiday greeting. Since the design runs to the edge of the card, we used our printer’s borderless printing feature. We lined the Deep Red envelopes in Powder Blue and added coordinating Custom Image StationeryStamps.

Big news
The holiday season is always busy with family and friends, and it’s even busier if you’ve just started planning a wedding! Not to worry; our save the date cards will help you spread the word and let people know to mark their calendars for your big day. And our gorgeous designs will make sure that you do it with style.

Our PrintingPress 6.0 design is simple and elegant. We started by adding the bride and groom’s initials in green using the Palatino Linotype font at the top of a White 4 x 6 inch custom cut card. We joined the initials with a Celtic love knot graphic to symbolize the union of the couple. We added the names and wedding information in black and green using the Palatino Linotype font and increased the character spacing for an airy look. We used a double-stick tape gun to adhere the card to a Pewter 4.25 x 6.25 inch custom cut card and then mounted the pair onto a Black Linen A7 card. We lined the Pewter envelopes in Avocado and added coordinating Custom Image StationeryStamps.

For a bold, modern look, try our PrintingPress Platinum 6.0 design. We added a modern circles (green & blue) border to a White A7 flat card and used a floating text box to add the bride and groom’s first names and the wedding date in the center of the border. We wrote the bride and groom’s names in green using the Trebuchet font and increased the character spacing. We joined the names using a blue ampersand using the Palatino Linotype font with the Italic text style. Below the border, we added the bride and groom’s full names in green and the wedding details in blue using the Trebuchet font. We lined the Midnight envelopes using our new modern circles (green & blue) Personalized Envelope Liners. We created coordinating Custom Image StationeryStamps with the couple’s initials and wedding date.

If you’re planning a destination wedding, then our PrintingPress Extreme 6.0 design featuring a Black Linen Pocket Folder in the A8 Landscape (pointed flap) size is just what you need to store hotel and other travel information. We filled a White A7 card with a new asian blossom (black, red & gold) pattern and used our printer’s borderless printing feature to print the design all the way to the edge of the card. We added the bride & groom’s names and wedding info to a White 3 x 5 inch custom cut card in black and red using the Palatino Linotype font. We used a double-stick tape gun to stick the invitation to a Deep Red 3.25 x 5.25 inch custom cut card, adhered the pair to the patterned backing card and then mounted the set onto the Pocket Folder. We added single flower images from the pattern to the upper corners of the White A7 accommodations card, and used the columns feature to add two columns of hotel information.  We used the Label stationery type to create a sheet of 1.75 x 3.25 inch seals with a flower and the bride and groom’s initials and wedding dates. We used a double-stick tape gun to adhere the seals to Deep Red 3.5 x 2 inch custom cut cards, and then mounted the set onto the Pocket Folder’s flap. We lined the Deep Red envelopes using our new asian blossom (black, red & gold) Personalized Envelope Liners. We created coordinating Custom Image StationeryStamps with the couple’s initials and wedding date.

Pushing the envelope
We love making it easier for you to create gorgeous invitations with coordinated envelopes, and we’ve just added one more tool to our arsenal: Custom Envelope Liners. We’ve added a new Envelope Liner stationery type to all 6.0 versions of PrintingPress. Just choose Check for Updates in the Help menu and click on the Check now button to download the software update. We’ve added Custom Envelope Liners to our website, so you can submit your project once you’ve placed your order, and we will print and trim the liners for you.

Choose New Stationery in the Stationery menu to create a new Envelope Liner. You can create Envelope Liners for all Mountaincow envelope sizes: 4-bar, A2, A6, A7, A8 and Square.

Once you click on the Finish button to create your Envelope Liner, you will see that the Envelope Liner stationery type shows you how the liner will be cut once you send your project to Mountaincow. The angled flaps of the liner are shown with a TRIM ZONE, which shows the area that will be trimmed off during the cutting process.

For this month’s Extreme holiday card design, we created an A8 Envelope Liner. Since we wanted the snowflake pattern to bleed to the edge of the liner, we used PrintingPress Extreme 6.0’s Overprint margin feature to add a 0.25 inch bleed.

Envelope Liner margins are set by default to center any text on the middle of the liner flap.  If you have PrintingPress Platinum or PrintingPress Extreme you can add a floating text box to the flap, then select the text box and press Ctrl+Home on your keyboard to center the text box on the flap.

When you purchase Custom Envelope Liners, we will send you instructions on how to get your project to us. We will email you a proof of how your liners will print, and once you approve the proof we will print, cut and send you your liners.
